Hi! I’m Emily- The human behind MKE MAE Designs. I’m a self-taught metalsmith based in Milwaukee, crafting handmade fine and semi-fine jewelry with intention (and a little bit of obsession). I’ve been making jewelry since 2019, and over the years I’ve honed my craft to shape a style that blends minimal forms with meaningful designs through custom pieces and small unique collections.

Every piece is created by hand in my home studio—my little haven where I get to slow down, experiment, and create one-of-a-kind work —no mass production, no shortcuts. Just thoughtful design, quality materials, and a love for creating jewelry that becomes part of someone’s everyday story.

When I’m not at my bench, I’m teaching metalsmithing to high school students. Balancing the quiet focus of my studio with the chaos, humor, and energy of teenagers keeps me grounded and sane… and honestly, makes me love both sides of the craft even more.
